Dubai, UAE: Verify Your Google My Business listing without PO Box number and/or verification PIN

If you have not yet listed your business with Google My Business, follow this guide.

How to verify your Google My Business listing (in Dubai/Abu Dhabi/UAE) without verification PIN and PO Box numbers?

I receive many requests for help to verify their companies’ Google My Business listings – because they are unable to receive their postcards (containing their verification PINs) from Google via standard posts/PO Box numbers.

The problem is that Google sends these postcards via standard mail and cannot enter us our PO Box number along with our addresses. Unfortunately, we cannot receive an ordinary mail in UAE without a PO Box number.

In other words, many businesses cannot verify their Google My Business (Google Map/Google Local) Listings because of this verification problem.

I noticed that Google is helping those businesses these days – and they can verify their listings manually by contacting Google My Business Support.

I have a 3-minute short tutorial that will explain you how to contact Google My Business Support to help you verify your listing manually:

Note: Before contacting support, make sure that you have applied for your verification PIN at least 25 days ago.

Step-by-step guide (as mentioned in the video):

  1. Visit https://www.google.com/mybusiness/
  2. Login to your Google account
  3. Click Support from the left-menu
  4. Click Need more help? from Help box
  5. Click Verification
  6. Click I requested a postcard more than 14 days ago
  7. Click Contact Us
  8. Fill out the form carefully with all the required details and press Submit
  9. Google support team will contact you (within 2 – 3 days) to ask for more details, and some additional documents for verification purpose.
  10. In this way, you will be able to verify your Google My Business listing within a few days, instead of months.
